Hi! Welcome...
This is my third year at Virginia High School. Prior to coming to VHS, I graduated from UMD with a degree in Teaching Social Studies 5-12 with a concentration in History. I also have a minor in coaching from UMD. After Graduating, I spent one year as a Substitute Teacher in the Duluth Public School District working mostly at Morgan Park Middle School. I was also an Assistant Basketball Coach at the JV and Varsity level at Hermantown High School. My First year at VHS was an exciting year for me. Since arriving at VHS I have taught 10th Grade World Cultures and 8th Grade American History. I also had the opportunity to coach 9th Grade Boys Basketball and Varsity Girls Track and Field. This year I will be teaching 8th Grade American History. Since I have been here, the Students and Faculty at VHS have been amazing. I feel at home here in Virginia and I hope to be here for a long time.
